The Life of a Great Leader

Every leader's life is filled with a mixture of achievements and setbacks. A leader that is confident and works hard has achievement in his life, but even than something my happen that will stop the achievement process which are setbacks. Some leaders may go through life and get ahead in life, allot of achievements, but that doesn't mean that they will never have setbacks.

When I see a leader who shows weakness I do think less of them because than you know that you can't really follow in their footsteps because of that weakness, that way it doesn't happen to you. If I see a leader who encounters failure I don't think less of them. The reason I don't is because not everyone is perfect. Everyone will encounter failure once in awhile, even leaders. 
 
The leader that I have chosen to write about is Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln had problems in business. and running for vice president. He had many opposition and many people criticized him. He had achievements of becoming president and stopping slavery. Even though he had problems in life they helped him later on in life. This is the leader that I chose that overcame tragedy in his life and had triumph in his life.

ABOUT ME

Well, my name is Alona. I am 17 years old and a senior in high school.I am a Ukrainian,but an American citizen! I play piano and guitar. I love to talk and hang out with friends. I love the nature.I bake and cook. I am a shy person, but once I get to know you I am talkative and fun to be around! I love the shows:Hawaii-Five-O, Psych, Without a Trace, Heartland. I have a whole list of movies that I like. I love to read books. But if you want to get to know more about me, you'll just have to meet me. lol.

Life with No Alphabet

If there were no alphabet, the only way we would be able to communicate is face to face. Think right now if we didn't have an alphabet I wouldn't be writing right now because I wouldn't know how. If no alphabet means no cellphones,computers,etc. Life would very different from what it is now. Be thankful for the alphabet. :)

Question :   Did your perceptions of resumes change at all from the first day we did our free writing about resumes?


Answer:  I knew that someday I would have to write a resume, but when I found out we would have to do it in class, I got a little scared. lol. I was worried I wasn't going to understand how to do them. Well, now I know how thanks to Mrs. Davis and Owl.com. :)
